Green Electricians

This training will give you the skills and knowledge to become a solar photovoltaic (PV) designer and installer or a battery designer and installer – and can lead to Clean Energy Council accreditation.

The course includes training for those who are already accredited solar designers and installers, and additional training for those who require battery accreditation.

The 22453VIC Course in New Energy Technology Systems comprises:

Unit code Unit
VU22123 Undertake site assessment for installation of a grid-connected renewable energy generation system
VU22124 Design a grid connected photovoltaic energy generation system to meet client requirements
VU22125 Design a grid-connected battery storage system to meet client requirements
UEERE4001 Install, maintain and fault find battery storage systems for grid-connected photovoltaic systems
UEERE0016 Install, configure and commission LV grid-connected photovoltaic power systems

Offering the design only option will mean more people in the industry can access training, which can lead to CEC accreditation.

Who can do the training?

This training has been developed for electricians and electrical engineers and others with accredited training. You don’t need to be participating in our programs to do this training. You are eligible if you have one or more of the following:
